The Courtyard Cafe and Lotus Guesthouse
Expanding the Lotus Guesthouse
The Sanctuary Project sees the creation of a new series of ground floor bedrooms for the guesthouse, along with a lounge space for guests, a new kitchenette, shower room and fully-accessible bathroom space.
Expanding the guesthouse will create a stable and sustainable source of income to support Jamyang and it’s projects.
Landscaping and Reimagining the Courtyard
The beautifully imagined Courtyard now presents an expanded decking area providing seating throughout, to be enjoyed by all.
The Courtyard will have a raised level, allowing for a fully planted garden and a bio-diverse selection of trees and plants, a feng shui water feature, and the addition of a cloistered seating area to enjoy this oasis of fresh green community space.
The Café and Kitchen
The home and heart of our community events, workshops and spaces to connect, the café and adjoining kitchen receives a contemporary and considered redesign, creating a modern and welcoming space for all who visit the Old Courthouse.
